Authors Description:

Carrier Of The Mark:
Their love was meant to be.

When Megan Rosenberg moves to Ireland, everything in her life seems to fall into place. After growing up in America, she's surprised to find herself feeling at home in her new school. She connects with a group of friends, and she is instantly drawn to darkly handsome Adam DeRÍs.

But Megan is about to discover that her feelings for Adam are tied to a fate that was sealed long ago—and that the passion and power that brought them together could be their ultimate destruction.

Shadow Of The Mark:
Their love could destroy them all.

Through the ages, Marked Ones have harnessed the powers of the four elements: Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Much about the elements is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain: A relationship between two Marked Ones has the potential to cause widespread devastation.

Megan and Adam—Air and Water—are determined to defy the risks.

But the power that swirls inside Megan is growing in twisted ways. And the closer she is to Adam, the closer Megan comes to unleashing a dark force that could spell destruction for the entire Marked line.

Carrier Of The Mark:
4 out of 5 Stars

I really enjoyed this book. I am fascinated with elemental stories. I love the betrayal of the elements and how they are drawn to each other. This also had a beautiful love story. Adam a water element and Megan the element of air. At first Adam doesn't trust Megan. His twin sister is the one who befriends Megan.

People in town don't know who the DeRIs are. There have been rumors of strange things happening involving the family. Rumors that they might be witches.  The family is chosen marked ancestors from a goddess. Where they received the elements of the earth.

The names were hard for me to remember the way there suppose to be pronounced. That was the culture represented though. That and sometimes the scenes being rushed were the only complaints I had. I still loved this. The love story was so great. I felt the fire building between Megan and Adam. I cant wait to read the next book. I am giving this book out of  stars.

Shadow Of The Mark:
4 out of 5 Stars

This book started of perfectly. Adam and Megan are getting more and more steamy and cant seem to part from one another. I kind of having a knew crush in Adams older brother. He posses the Fire element.

Thing soon get out of hand with Megan becoming stronger and her drawing from the other elements. Fionn the DeRIs caregiver is still suspicious of everyone. Megan is not sure she can handle living like this forever. The secrecy is getting to her.

I loved this book and don't want to ruin anything for anyone. The only thing I didn't like was at the very end the complication of adding Anu. I didn't think the story needed that to be great. Besides that I was glued and on edge all the way to the last page. I am giving this book 4 out 5 stars.
