Unleashed (Uninvited 2) by Sophie Jordan
What if the worst thing you ever did was unforgivable?
Davy’s world fell apart after she tested positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome. She was expelled from her school, dumped by her boyfriend, abandoned by friends, and shipped off to a camp that turns HTS carriers into soldiers. Davy may have escaped, but the damage has already been done. The unthinkable has happened. Now, even worse than having everyone else see her as a monster is the knowledge that they may have been right about her all along. Because Davy has killed.
On the run from government agents, Davy is rescued by Caden, the charismatic leader of an underground group of rebels. Despite Caden’s assurances that the Resistance is made up of carriers like her, Davy isn’t sure she can trust them. Then again, she doesn’t even know if she can trust herself . . . or her growing feelings for Caden. But if she doesn’t belong with Caden and his followers, is there anywhere she can call home?

With Tide and Tempest

Free or not, life beneath the sea in the republic of Itlantis is less idyllic than Aemi might have imagined when she’d been just a surfacer slave. She’s been accused of spying for the enemy thanks to her connections with the traitorous Nautilus family, not to mention her own tangled and mysterious family history. Her mother has arrived, and is determined to take over her life. Oh, and someone is trying to kill her. Again.

When Aemi receives word that her best friend might still be alive in a village on the surface, she and a crew of friends set out to find him, regardless of the danger from Nautilus’s men patrolling the open sea and the mysterious threats on her life. But the sea is not the only thing that holds secrets.

The Vast and Brutal Sea by Zoraida Cordova Blog Tour & Giveaway ~ with Review and Q & A by Fallon

Vast and Brutal Sea Blog Tour Q & A with Zoraida Cordova and review By Fallon

1) At what age did you start writing?
I was 13. I know a lot of people say they started making stories since they were in the womb, but for me I didn’t know I wanted to be an author until I was 13. Before that, I wanted to be an artist. When I read IN THE FORESTS OF THE NIGHT by Amelia Atwater Rhodes, an author who got published when she was just 14!, I realized I could do it, too. Something clicked in my head and from that moment on I put all my energy into writing. I wrote 3 books which never saw the light of day. Then when I was 20 or 21 I started brainstorming The Vicous Deep. We sold the book when I was 23.
2) Did you draw inspiration from anyone you know when writing about Tristan?
Tritan is just Tristan. I’d like to say he’s a little bit like me in the sense that he loves his friends and family, but when I started writing him I started from scratch. I didn’t want an alpha hero who was tormented and w…

Throwback Thursday ~ These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman, and Meagan Spooner

4 Out of 5 Stars

This is my favorite book cover of all time!

Fallon's Thoughts:
I loved These Broken Stars. Any writer who can make your heart break and bring tears pouring down your face has succeeded in something great. This story was beautiful and broke my heart a hundred times over in so many different ways. The growth and journey that Lilac faces is so believable. She is this spoiled brat. Lilac has been handed everything her entire life and never had to work for a thing. I loved the chemistry Lilac and Tarver have. Tarver does not baby Lilac and put up with her crap. They are too very stubborn people thrown into very hard circumstances. This is a must read and not at all what i expected. I am giving this book 4 out of 5 stars.
