ARC Review of: All Fall Down (Embassy Row #1) by Ally Carter ~ Review by Fallon

3 Out of 5 Stars

Author Description:

Grace can best be described as a daredevil, an Army brat, and a rebel. She is also the only granddaughter of perhaps the most powerful ambassador in the world and Grace has spent every summer of her childhood running across the roofs of Embassy Row.

Now, at age sixteen, she's come back to stay - in order to solve the mystery of her mother's death. In the process, she uncovers an international conspiracy of unsettling proportions, and must choose her friends and watch her foes carefully if she and the world are to be saved.

Fallon's Review:

I received an ARC from Scholastic of All Fall Down by Ally Carter for review. Thank you Scholastic.

Grace is a mess after a horrific incident she witnessed her mother being killed. Some think she is crazy and others pity her and think she maybe a little unstable. Grace is sent to live with her Grandfather who happens to be the ambassador for the US on Embassy Row.

Still convinced her mother's death was not an accident she enlists her friends to help uncover the truth that is hidden. She knows her memories are real and the she is not insane. This will leave you guessing what really happened all the way up to the end.

All Fall Down was a good read but I wanted more. More romance, more mystery, and more action. I can not place it I just wanted more. I still had fun reading this book and would consider picking up book 2 to see if it ups the anti. I am giving this book 3 out of 5 stars.

  1. This is on my TBR and I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Have you read Ally Carter's other books? How do you feel this one compares?
