Goodreads Description:

The Fast and the Furious gets a futuristic twist in this action-packed debut!

On corporately controlled Castra, rally racing is a high-stakes game that seventeen-year-old Phoebe Van Zant knows all too well. Phee’s legendary racer father disappeared mysteriously, but that hasn't stopped her from speeding headlong into trouble. When she and her best friend, Bear, attract the attention of Charles Benroyal, they are blackmailed into racing for Benroyal Corp, a company that represents everything Phee detests. Worse, Phee risks losing Bear as she falls for Cash, her charming new teammate. But when she discovers that Benroyal is controlling more than a corporation, Phee realizes she has a much bigger role in Castra’s future than she could ever have imagined. It's up to Phee to take Benroyal down. But even with the help of her team, can a street-rat destroy an empire?

Fallon's Review:

Thank you Penguin Young Readers for an ARC of Tracked for review. This in no way effected my opinion of the book.

Phoebe lives in the shadow of her dad's footsteps. Once a great racer till the day he disappeared. Winning is in her blood. She is a street racer from the poor side of town. Adopted by a loving family after her dad left and she never knew her mother.

Phoebe gets into an accident and finds herself in the hospital after Bear rescues her. She is arrested and given an option to either serve a life sentence or join Benroyal and become his new racer. She agrees as long as Bear is part of the package deal. Bear has always been her pacer, that is until now.

Cash is a prince with a reputation. Phoebe now known as the Phoenix has just met her new pacer and while yes he is young and hot she is not convinced he is dedicated and capable of pacing her. Cash is nothing like Phoenix expected and everything she ends up needing. She is closed off and torn between a boy who has always been her best friend and the new guy who sets her heart a flutter.

Bear is Phoebe aka Phoenix's best friend. He has always had her back and their relationship has grown to the point of confusion for Phoebe. She does not want to loose the best friend she needs. She does not know how to be more then friends and Bear does not know how to not be more. He has feelings for her and can not stand Cash the new male in the picture.

Tracked is fast paced from the very beginning. Secrets and lies are a part of the world of the rich and famous and Phoebe just got a one way ticket to that life. Tracked reminded me of Speed Racer with a feminine twist. Phoebe aka Phoenix is a tough as nail no mess around kind of chick. Jenny Martin wrote a book unlike any other on the market right now and it was a breath of fresh air. I am giving Tracked 4 out of 5 stars and I can not wait for book  2.
