For readers of A Game of Thrones and LegendTraveler, the sequel to Seeker

Quin Kincaid is a Seeker. Her legacy is an honor, an ancient role passed down for generations. But what she learned on her Oath night changed her world forever.

Quin pledged her life to deception. Her legacy as a Seeker is not noble but savage. Her father, a killer. Her uncle, a liar. Her mother, a casualty. And the boy she once loved is out for vengeance, with her family in his sights.

Yet Quin is not alone. Shinobu, her oldest companion, might now be the only person she can trust. The only one who wants answers as desperately as she does.

But the deeper they dig into the past, the darker things become. There are long-vanished Seeker families, shadowy alliances, and something else: a sinister plan begun generations ago, with the power to destroy them all.

The past is close. And it will destroy them all.

Thank you Random House for sending me a copy of Traveler for review. This in no way affected my opinion.

Traveler added so much to the Seeker world. First off we get Catherine's POV which is John's mother. This gives insight into the world that I felt was needed. Shinobu goes through some very tough struggles in Traveler. I think after all is said and done I still love his character.  Quinn's family dynamics are so messed up and things stay weird even in book 2.

I loved Traveler even more then the first. Catherine's POV was my favorite.  John may redeem himself completely in book 3 I hope. He is working on it LOL. I just really wanted to punch him at the end of Seeker. The end will have you covering your mouth in shock. This is a fun read. If you read Seeker and wanted more to the world and had questions you need to pick up Traveler. It has so much in it that left you wondering in book 1.

Dayton wrote and intriguing and unique world that is full of action and high stakes. Do not miss this series that is unlike any world I have read yet. It combines a bunch of genres and mesh them seamlessly. I am excited to continue the story next year.
