Addiction Fiction Friday: Ever the Hunted (Clash of Kingdoms #1) by Erin Summerill ~ Promo Post

Welcome to Addiction Fiction Friday where we feature a book of fiction that will become your new addiction. Today I am excited to bring you Ever the Hunted!

This book was so so good. I was super excited to read this one and let me tell you it blows all your expectations away. This story had such realistic elements but in a fantasy world. My husband is a hunter and so I found myself asking him about things and him telling me how accurate it was portrayed. This book gives you a story about survival, love, loss and it is set in a kingdom where having an ounce of magic could get you killed.

I will be posting a full review closer to release!

Review:

Thank you HMH books for sending me a copy of Ever the Hunted for review. This in no way affected my opinion.

I seriously loved this book. Erin's writing blew me away. You are transported to a kingdom where this girl Britta is trying to survive after the loss of her father. Poaching is illegal but Britta is determined to survive and she is shunned in town due to her father and mothers marriage not being legal since the lands divided. Her best friend and love of her life left before the loss of her father to serve the King. So Britta is all alone. The kings men do find her and she is taken to be hung but a deal is made to bring her fathers killer to justice she can avoid punishment and gain her fathers land. The only catch is that her fathers killer is the love that left to serve the King, Cohen.

Ever the Hunted had so many twists and turns and left me completely spellbound. I am such a fan and can not wait to re-read this amazing book. This is a must read. An easy 5 out of 5 stars! A book to be cherished forever

About the Author:

Erin Summerill was born in England. After spending years bouncing between Air Force bases in Hawaii, England, and California, her family settled in Utah, where Erin graduated with a B.A. in English from Brigham Young University. She had aspirations to write the next great American novel, but writing proved tougher than she first thought. So she grabbed a Nikon and became a professional photographer while crafting manuscript after manuscript. The scenic detour of shooting weddings across the United States, as well as internationally, provided world-building inspiration. It gave her the vision to draft her debut YA fantasy, EVER THE HUNTED. Now when she isn’t writing, or shooting a wedding, she’s chasing her four kids, two dogs, one cat, and five chickens. This could be why she downs massive amounts of Coke Zero and Hot tamales.
