As two lethal elemental gods set out to destroy Mytica, sworn enemies must become allies in the final fight to save the kingdoms.Jonas continues to willfully defy his destiny, but the consequences of plotting his own course are drastic. As the fight for Mytica rages on, he must decide just how much more he's willing to sacrifice. Lucia knows there's something special about her daughter and she'll do anything to protect her, even if that means facing Kyan alone. Amara is called back home to Kraeshia. Grandma Cortas has her own plans for Mytica's future. She promises Amara power, revenge, and dominance if she agrees to be part of her scheme. Magnus and Cleo's love will be put to the ultimate test. Dark magic is causing widespread destruction throughout the kingdom. Enemies across the sea are advancing. And unrest is stirring throughout the land. Is their love strong enough to withstand the outside forces tearing them apart?

Thank you Penguin Teen for sending me Immortal Reign for review. This in no way affected my opinion.

I have been a Rhodes Rebel street team member for a couple years now. So I was already a big fan of the series. But sometimes endings can make or break a series and Rhodes did this final book magically. We get everything we could want or hope for and a little more.

One of my favorite moments was when Lucia arrives on the page and you know she is pissed and that she is not taking any crap from anyone. I was never a fan of Jonas but Morgan Rhodes finally made me like his character in this final book. I final related and understood his purpose and felt like his character came into who he was finally meant to be.

Morgan Rhodes while finishing the series gives us a little spark at the end to where I hope there might be more books set in the near future. Fingers crossed Penguin Teen this will happen. This is one of my favorite series of all time. It is emotional and intense and I have loved every moment. Each book got better and better. All fans who read Crystal Storm and were left with that cliffhanger ending will finally get answers fairly quickly in Immortal Reign.

Definite series I have added to my forever shelf and one I highly recommend. I am giving this final book and the overall series 5 out of 5 stars.
