Blog Tour: To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo ~ Review and Creative Photo

I am so excited to be participating in the To Kill a Kingdom blog tour. This has been one of my favorite reads this year and almost ever.

To Kill a Kingdom

Thank you Fierce Reads for sending me a copy of To Kill a Kingdom. This in no way affected my opinion.
I loved the dark twist to this mermaid and siren book that had nods to The Little Mermaid. This book was magical and enchanted me from the very beginning. Even though Lira is such a dark character Alexandra gives us glimpses at her humanity deep inside her. This touch of feeling may have been forgotten but is it lost?
I have always been such a huge fan of sea adventures and this book did not disappoint. This year seems to be the year for sea adventures. I could not be happier. I have already read three and I am so happy that each of them were so very different and not at all similar even though they are the same genres.
If you love mermaids, sirens or even just a good story with a great adventure then this is the book for you.
Are you guys ready for the year of sea adventures? I have read all three is these stunning novels and they are a must for fans of ocean adventures and retellings! . 🌊⚔️🌊 . Last years trend seemed to be carnival themed books and this year a new trend is taking over. I am so excited. When I first started blogging over 5 years ago I did a Mermaid month with my co-blogger at the time and we had so much fun but most mermaid or sea adventures were indie and not many had been published by a big publishing house. So I am so beyond excited for this trend. Thank you @epicreads and @fiercereads for these amazing books! . 🌊⚔️🌊 . The wait is over get #daughterofthesirenqueen today by @tricialevenseller and #tokillakingdom by @allie_christo is just around the corner and comes out next month and this book is a dark retelling with some nods to the Little Mermaid. #seawitch will be the perfect beach read being released this summer by @shhenning and this book was heart breaking and beautiful with so many twists and turns. #retelling #crown #homedecor
